Here is an E-mail to my old friends in New Haven, USA.
It took 5 years for Hawaiian ginger (Kahilli ginger) to bloom.
A few days ago, my wife found a bunch of buds of Hawaiian ginger that was brought from Hawaii legally when we visited there for the wedding of David and Ploy.
They grow very well in Osaka, but there have been no flower, and I almost decided to throw them away when we moved two year ago.
My wife decided to take care of them for a while, because they may bloom suddenly.
I felt negative, but it happens.
